Lighting Design

Event lighting design is an art form that combines stage lighting and architectural lighting design. The goal of lighting is to elicit the desired human response by highlighting the aesthetic appeal of the architectural and decor elements, drawing focus to key areas, and creating a room composition to set the mood of the event. Proper lighting design also takes into consideration how the equipment used fits within the overall design, how efficiently energy is used, and making sure that light isn’t wasted by illuminating unnecessary elements. Depending on scale, this area may be managed by the production and creative teams.
